It was a wonderful, sunny
morning at the Big Town airport. The sky was blue and there were
hardly any clouds in the sky. There were people, trucks and planes
moving around all over the airport getting ready for another busy day.
At the other end of the
airport, a brand new plane rolled out of a little hangar. His name
was "Artie the Airplane". He was smaller than most of the other planes
at the airport, but he was very friendly and excited about his new job!
Everyone stopped by to say, "Hi."
Some of the other planes did not like
everyone paying so much attention to Artie. They said things to him
that were not very nice.
"Hmmph," said Jack the Jumbo Jet, "you're so small."
Frankie the Fighter Jet said, "Ha-ha, I'll bet you're not very
fast!"
